Dr. Delgado

Medical Director, Veterinarian

Welcome to KKM!

I am thrilled to announce my new role as Medical Director at KKM. Having grown up in Vandalia, Ohio, and established my practice in Cincinnati since 2014, I am excited about the opportunity to move to the Franklin-Carlisle area. This move brings me closer to my family, which is incredibly important to me.

The Human-Animal Bond

Growing up, our pets were more than just animals; they were cherished members of our family. This deep connection taught me the signicance of the human-animal bond, a lesson that has profoundly inuenced my career in veterinary medicine.

Educational Background

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Findlay, which I earned in 2010. My educational journey then took me to the stunning island of Saint Kitts, where I completed my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014.

Professional Passions

In my practice, I have developed a strong interest in several areas of veterinary medicine, including soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and functional nutrition

Life Beyond the Clinic

Outside of my professional life, I cherish spending quality time with my husband, Alex, and our daughter, Caliopy. Together, we love to explore new places, savor different cuisines, and immerse ourselves in creative projects. Nature holds a special place in our hearts, and we often nd ourselves enjoying its beauty. Our family includes two beloved rescue dogs, Ophelia and Georgia, a sweet rescue cat named Stacy, and a charming Russian tortoise, Penny.

Looking Forward

I am eagerly looking forward to collaborating with the families of KKM to ensure their pets receive the highest quality of care. My goal is to enhance their pets' lives and foster a strong, nurturing community where both pets and their families thrive.

Trouble

Clinic Cat

Hi, my name is Trouble and I work hard at keeping all the staff in line. I use my extra sweet loving nature to make sure they spoil me every day. It is a full-time job making sure that every staff member gives me treats and loves on me every day. I like to think that I bring them joy though as my thanks for their care. I’m rather famous on their Facebook page with my poses.
